Shared Solutions provides customised training programmes to the finance industry and an advisory service to professional trustees. We specialise in the area of trusts and companies, from promoting an understanding of the concepts involved, through to administration and the uses and functions of sophisticated structures involving trusts and companies. We deliver high quality, practical training programmes to professional trustees, intermediaries and other financial service providers such as lawyers and fund managers. Our training services to professional trustees cover three main areas:
Through our screen based method we can quickly and cost effectively identify training needs in your organisation. This is achieved by your staff completing a case study based on typical client situations. Our analysis of the results is carried out with the assistance of your senior management and together we identify specific training needs. Targeted training is usually carried out using our personal delivery method. The objective of targeted training is to address specific topics such as taxation and trustee issues as well as commercial issues such as client communication and risk management allied to profitability. Our technique imparts knowledge and experience in the context of your staff's daily routines. This is generally carried out using our screen based method. This consists of a case study, which contains one or more integrated technical and practical problems. A team of individuals is tasked with resolving a problem within a time frame, typically ten working days. At the end of the task they submit their team response to us and we present them with an instructive commentary and suggested solution together with an evaluation of their response. and other financial service providers We have programmes designed for professionals who deal with trustees either as intermediaries or service providers to assist them to understand more closely the needs of trustee and company clients. An introduction to trust and companies is expanded to explain when and how they are used and encompasses the use of particular strategies to maximise the advantages obtained in creating the original structure. Shared Solutions is able to provide to professional trustees an in depth advisory service to resolve difficult trust and client issues on a confidential basis. We are no threat to your client base as we are not in the business of trust and company administration. This service is provided on a personal basis. The extent of the requirement will be discussed carefully with you but the whole process will remain under your control. We will deliver to you a written report analysing the problems and making our suggestions as to the solutions available. It will be at your discretion as to the extent you wish us to be involved in the delivery of the solution. We believe that this service is of
particular value to trust companies which may not have the internal
resources to tackle some of the more difficult and complex
trust/client issues that arise and would welcome some expert non
threatening help. This could be of special value in defusing problems
that could otherwise become statutorily reportable.
