Peter Morgan is a Fellow of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Having conducted
his early training in the industrial West Midlands he joined
Coopers & Lybrand in Jersey in 1971. He joined a team which
was at the forefront of the provision of advice to the offshore
finance industry, specialising in banking, unit trusts and the
development of ever more technical and sophisticated mutual fund
structures. |
| He became a partner in 1980 and
switched his attention to the trust and company administration
and private wealth management division of Coopers & Lybrand
known as Abacus. He also undertook principal responsibility for
the training and human resource functions at Abacus which he
maintained and expanded until leaving in 1998. Since then he and
his fellow partner George Loraine have worked on a programme of
workshops designed to raise the knowledge and effectiveness of
staff working in the offshore wealth management business, Shared
Solutions has been created to build on the initial success of
this exercise. Peter has been closely associated with the parent
teachers associations at both Beaulieu Convent School and De La
Salle College and is a member of the Youth Court panel. He is
involved in two major charitable institutions. Peter can be
contacted directly by e-mail
or phone on: 867812. |

George Loraine is also a Fellow of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Having
trained in London he joined Coopers & Lybrand in Jersey in
1970. He pursued an audit career for a short while dealing
largely in the banking industry. He left in 1971 to join a
merchant bank where he gained considerable experience in the
commercial banking world and in property investment. |
| He returned to Abacus in 1977 and
built up a major client portfolio of trusts and companies
covering a wide range of private and corporate clients. In doing
this he became involved in the development of a number of
training case studies for training staff and the success of this
experiment led to him and his colleague Peter Morgan creating
the programmes delivered through Shared Solutions. George moved
on from Abacus in 1997. He served as a founder trustee on the
Jersey Arts Trust and as a trustee to the Dean Goss Trust,
created to assist retiring Church of England clergy in Jersey.
George can be contacted directly by e-mail
or phone on: 867811. |

Gary
Martin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
in Ireland and an MBA. He has had active involvement in training
as a provider a participant and a purchaser during his
professional career. Gary worked with Coopers & Lybrand in
Jersey initially as a computer auditor and latterly as a
management consultant specialising in "change
management" and information technology |
| He
left Coopers & Lybrand to become Chief Executive Officer at
Falles Motor Group Limited. He, with Peter and George has
created Shared Solutions in order to overcome the disappointment
he experienced at the delivery of training of a poor quality. As
a purchaser, he was constantly let down by the lack of
evaluation and the poor return on most of the training for his
staff. He believes that training must be carefully targeted
and delivered in a crisp and effective style. He feels
that Shared Solutions has discovered the key to overcoming his
practical disappointments and is keen to add his training and IT
experience to the new approach. Gary
can be contacted directly by e-mail
or phone on: 853385 |
