Shared Solutions' training approach is to maximise the effectiveness of your staff as quickly as possible with a minimum of disruption to their working day. We do this by passing on to your people technical knowledge and experience using realistic material and appropriate delivery methods in a setting and at a time and place to suit them.

Training should be relevant to the trainee and must be cost effective and deliver real returns to the employer. Our training programmes balance commercial awareness, risk management and technical knowledge.

Our research shows that training is best delivered in short but intensive sessions so that maximum use is made of the time and resources available. We have devised a number of workshop sessions based on real life case studies. All participants contribute to the solutions and we encourage students to share their problems. Our approach demonstrates that a shared solution produces the best solution.

Our programmes can be tailored to accommodate companies using their own systems and procedures and can help staff to identify with their employers' key values and objectives. The programmes also provide an invaluable opportunity for staff to train together in small teams so enhancing their confidence, team working and leadership skills.

Shared Solutions has created two distinct delivery methods that can be used either separately or in combination depending on the circumstances:

Personal delivery

This method is used to impart an intensive amount of knowledge quickly.

An "away from work" traditional style of delivery, reshaped to maximise the benefits to you and your people. Two facilitators work with up to twenty people operating in small teams. Each session lasts about two hours so as to ensure total commitment and concentration achieving a high rate of knowledge retention. At the same time disruption to the working day is kept to a minimum.

 Screen based

This method can be used either as an assessment and evaluation tool to identify corporate and individual training needs or to train participants to apply and enhance their existing knowledge, thereby improving their day to day effectiveness.

A "time and location free" case study based method, which enables participants to work the programme at any time of their choosing and where ever they may be, as long as they have access to the internet. This method requires small groups of participants to solve specific but practical problems over a defined period of time, from a location of their choice.
